FAQs

How do we get there?

You will spend 15 minutes on the vehicular ferry, crossing D’Entrecasteaux Channel from Kettering to Roberts Point. In busy periods, two or three ferries operate. From Roberts Point, travel 9km on bitumen road B66 and, at the well-marked junction, turn left (north) and stay on gravel road C625 to Dennes Point (10km; about 15 minutes’ drive).  At Dennes Point the road becomes bitumen again. Continue on this road around the sharp corner and then past the jetty and boat ramp.  The Carrington Cottage sign is 50 metres past the boat ramp.

We had a lovely time. The cottage is gorgeous and I liked all the special touches. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t there. Thanks again for the early check in and late check-out. Some friends made the most of the nice weather today and brought their boat over from South Arm and joined us for lunch on the deck.

We loved this place and didn't want to leave! Had everything that you could want in a holiday home. Laying on the lounge looking out at the view was so relaxing and the wood fire on the cool nights was a great comfort. We hope to come back one day.
